Hey hey LJ!

Been pretty busy since we last spoke. This semester has been an extremely productive one. Working with Prof. Moglia on his research team has been fairly slow.. pretty much all we can do until we get IRB approval is read and summarize the past research. I can't wait until we actually go to the community centers to collect the data!! That should be this summer, if things go as planned. Speaking of summer, things are really coming together... I registered for two classes at southern, and had an interview with the director of volunteers at St. Raphaels Hospital. Now all I need is a job, and there ain't no way in hell I'm going back to TGI Fridays!!!

Lets seeeee what else have I been up to...Melissa, Gleides, and I wrote a grant proposal for doing our own research next year! We completed it all in only 2 weeks and handed it in about a week ago. Now all we can do is wait!! Our research interest is in studying how the attitudes about sexuality in college students affect their opinions on sexuality and the elderly. It would be amazing if we could do this research, and would look pretty sweet on a resume. Oh and I was just elected secretary for Applied Psychology Undergraduate Government! SO yayy!! Well actually, the other girl and I were tied so we rock paper scissor'd for it, and I won. Hey, a win is still a win.

Spring break was relaxing, nothing memorable.. just laid back times at home, which sometimes I think is nicer than a tropical vacation. Did a bunch of shopping since I havent had much time for that recently. I've decided that next spring break I'm definately going to be traveling somewhere! Not your typical spring break trip, though... not so fond of herds of drunk college kids, thanks. Hoppeeefully if I am accepted, I'll be traveling to Ghana during the winter break for the Dean's Travel Colloquium. So much to look forward to! I really wish college was longer! I want to be the perpetual student!... but I suppose that's what grad school is for.
