Texas Hold'em

Ok, so I have come to the conclusion that poker, specifically Texas Hold'em, is like the best game of all time. One can play for no money, and just bet worthless chips, which is fun in it's own right, or one could play for money, a small buy in or large, makes no difference. I love poker. I honestly think it is the best way for one to double or triple one's money. Just tonight I played two rounds of hold'em. One was a tournament with a five dollar buy in. The second place winner receives his/her money back(five dollars) and the winner takes what is left, which was a thirty-five dollar pot. Now that isn't huge, but it's enough so that it's worth playing and five dollars isn't really a huge amount to lose. It was a blast. For those who are wondering, I placed second, and I had a blast. Then we (the poker crew) changed location and played a five dollar buy/cash-out event. This meant that one could buy-in for five dollars at any time and cash out at any time. So not only did I buy in to the event for the five that I had won back from the previous tournament, but then I cashed out at twelve dollars, which again isn't a huge chip count, but I did double my money, and had a blast. I would've stayed longer, but the night pressed on and I had to be home. In essence, poker freakin' rocks! By the way, a bit of advice for you poker players...Ace on the river is trouble. Keep it in mind!
