The Sun & The Moon

It has been some time since I have updated my LiveJournal. From time to time, it seems a chore rather than a pleasantry, rendering "blogging," respectively, tedious & uninteresting.

I was going over past entries, becoming deeply confused by my lack of ambition & insurgence regarding hope, as it were. I have recently fashioned an optimism that likely stems from a spiritual epiphany, rather than self-discovery. Love is everywhere, & I believe the good man Aaron Weiss stated it best: Blind as I'd become, I used to wonder where You are. These days I can't find where You're not!
Long walks downtown, Mexican beers in the afternoon with old friends, & creative design projects possess my days, while smoke-filled diners & crossword puzzles with good company lace my evenings. Vexation is a foregoing malady, which I have countered with a placid sense of tolerance & broad-mindedness.

I am unyieldingly grateful for contemporary confidantes, but I am eternally indebted to those kindred spirits with whom I have recently reunited. Those are the bonds that cannot be broken; those are the ties that are infinitely tried, but cannot be severed...

...those are the making of the Kingdom of Heaven...
