A successful Arsenal makes for a happy Orc

I'm a happy Orc at the moment. :)

The football team I support, Arsenal, have made it through to the semi-finals of the European Champion's league for the first time ever in their history. :)
The Champion's league is Europe's premier club competition and just about the only trophy that Arsenal have never won.

It would be great to win it this year, as this is the last year that we will be playing at Highbury, which has been our home stadium since 1913.
Next season we move to our brand new 60,000 seater stadium so it'd be nice to sign off at Highbury by winning the Champion's league.

We have reached the semis by knocking out two of Europe's biggest clubs on the way (Real Madrid from Spain and Juventus from Italy)... now I am really hoping we can reach the final and even win the thing. :D

Our opponents in the semi finals will be Villareal from Spain, who themselves have never been this far either. It won't be an easy task but if we can beat them (it is played over 2 matches, one at home and one away) we will be in the final which will be held in Paris.
The other semi final is between AC Milan and Barcelona and I expect Barcelona to reach the final as they are probably the best team in the world right now.

The first leg of our semi final will be played on April 19th.... fingers crossed. :)
