What a Cliché!

This is a list of movie clichés, and is worth (AT LEAST) 15 3/4 lulz.

I think I'm going to make a short film made entirely out of clichés.

oh, cool! what movie were you seeing? I've been wanting to see Little Miss Sunshine. And I like going to King's. They always have some cool stuff to look at, even if i'm not looking for something in particular. :-)

Actually, Isaac was only making up that class, he wasn't here today. But i think he has to make up some more after this one. Next week is our last. I've actually been having alot more fun in class lately. In the beginning it was pretty boring, but I like Willie, and there's a whole bunch of people in it that I know. Jen, Kelly, Ava, Julia, and...i know there's someone else...but i can't remember who :-/...this is awkward. lol

Still, it's really great that you guys are all in the same class, regardless of whether Isaac is there or no. And Willie is one character.

I went, actually, to go see Little Miss Sunshine. I really liked it, it's in my top 10 of movies that have come out this year. I especially liked the music in it. You should go see it, you will not be disappointed. I swear, it's one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time. Touching too. (Aw... Isn't that cute).

Not to say it's the best film I've ever seen, ever. It's not on the shortlist for that. But, I liked it a lot. I'd put it... top 50? top 100? Who cares?

Yeah, I've been into King's a couple of times. It's a fun place to carouse. I like how it's set up like Powell's in Portland (the owner used to work there, I think).

Yeah, Willie is a very...unique individual. To say the least, lol.

I'm actually going to go see Little Miss Sunshine tomorrow, with my sister. I'm glad you liked it. I'll probably like it then ^_^ I've been wanting to see The Squid and the Whale too, since you gave it your thumbs up. And since we tend to have the same taste in movies, haha

btw, have you seen The Office? Ash (sister) just got the first season on Netflix. I would definitely recommend it if you haven't. It's super funny ;-) right up there with Arrested Development and Entourage... Although I wouldn't exactly compare The Office and A.D. to Entourage...They're a bit different, genre wise.

Thinking back on it, we do have the same (-ish) taste in movies. Huh. I never realized that.

I've been an avid fan of the American version of the office, but I've only seen a couple episodes of the original British one. I probably should watch more (actually, considering how much TV I watch as is, I probably shouldn't). Which version are you talking about?

Yeah, I'm talking about the American version. I'm excited to watch the Second season, and the new one. I haven't seen any of the English version actually.

But, so far, I love it. Like i said, it's up there with A.D. :-D Who are your fav. characters? I like...Dwight, Jim, Pam, and ...Kevin. And Michael is just such a jack-ass, that he's an unspoken good character..if that makes any sense.

Michael or Dwight... Steve Carrell and Rainn Wilson are such great actors and comedians, it's hard to pick a favorite. I really like the whole cast.

And yes, Kevin... lol.

I think I get what you mean. Michael seems like a nice guy, but he can be a total ass (whether he means to or not) sometimes.

I feel sorry for Michael...it's sad that he thinks he's funny. lol. He is, but not in the way he thinks. Can you imagine having him be your boss? In jim's words: "... if that were my career, I think I would have to throw myself in front of a train." And yeah, total ass, and I'm pretty sure he doesn't mean to.

I saw Little Miss Sunshine. You're right, it is on the top 50/100 list ;-) It was wierd to see Steve Carell in a "normal" character for once. He's sort of type cast as an idiot, but I thought he did a really good job.

And did those eight year old pageant girls freak you out? Because I thought they were scary beyond all means...They reminded me of Brats, like the doll. And don't even get me started on those.

p.s. I am totally downloading "Super Freak"...and maybe "Can't Touch This," because they're like the same, lol. Seriously, you could put the lyrics for Can't Touch This into the music for Super Freak, and I don't think anyone would know the difference.

I know I couldn't tell the difference between the two songs. They sounds EXACTLY the same. I think You Can't Touch This samples Superfreak.

I'm glad you liked Sunshine a lot. Actually, I liked the music so much that I went to Borders and got what may have been the last copy of the soundtrack. It is très awesome. If you want, I could try to burn a copy for you.

I would hope to never see my 4 year old ever enter in one of those pagaents. It's crazy. I think that Olive's routine at the end was an apt parody and satire of how silly, crazy, and over-sexualized those things are. It really is disgusting (like that guy standing up to clap for it at the end... Really disgusting...).

I like the music too. And that would be great to get a copy. I was actually thinking of looking for it myself. You're awesome :-D

I totally agree. The routine was making fun of how flippin stupid those things are. Those pagaents should have like...innocence requirements...or something, lol.Olive was the only real little girl there. She was the cutest, because she didn't have the make up on, or wear the skimpy outfits. Those parents are shameless!

And yeah, that guy clapping at the end was weird. It never said why he was there, and he was very rude to... Oh lord, i'm horrible. I've forgotten Greg's character's name *blushes* lol. But I don't know if he was a pervert, or just someone who got the whole "parody" of it... hmm...
