Silence in the house

The in laws left today and I must admit I have mixed emotions about it. Craig and I have been together 9 years and I have only seen him cry twice. The first time was when he left Scotland to move to Australia and then today saying goodbye to his mum and dad. It is usually me who does the crying and it pains me to see him so sad but I totally understand why he is sad and deflated. The 6 weeks flew by, they had a fantastic time and would hope they can make it out again in 2008. We are hoping to come out next year in August but it is not 100%.

I am worried for Craig's mum as she does not look the best and is extremely thin and very gaunt looking. She does not eat a lot and I am worried she is going to put herself in an early grave if she keeps up this way. Everyday while she was here I had to make her drink water as all she drinks is cups of tea. Craig's cousin is a Naturopath and she gave June a free consultation and gave her 2 pages of stuff she should do and supplements to take. I had to go the health shop to stock up on my vitamins and she bought some so I do hope she continues taking them and starts eating more.

I am doing voluntary work tomorrow at the RSPCA for Santa Paws, should be fun. People bringing their dogs in to get a photo with Santa and his wee Elf. I am on the line patrol, getting people ready to get their photos taken. It is for a good cause.

I called Trace last night and managed to catch her having a contraction, they were 15 minutes apart and lasting for 20 seconds. She was putting up the Christmas tree, what a women she is. Looks like I might not be far off the 9th of December mark but time will tell. I do hope everything goes ok and I am glad S is with her although Trace said he has turned very pale.

Off to have a quiet night with my hubbie, I am sure in a few hours time I will be bored.

Good to be back to my LJ.
