(no subject)
my life these days is one of pure laziness. if i didn't hold a steady job, i would do nothing but sleep and watch movies. now that i do have a job, all i do is work, sleep and watch movies. occassionally, i'll hang out with someone. but recently i've spent a lot of time in my basement and at the local library (where I can rent vhs movies free for a week). it's wonderful. i've realized that i in fact love watching movies and do have the attention span for them. so to show you how crazy i am, in the last three weeks i have seen:
- 5th Season of Dawson's Creek (more like the last half)
- Remember the Titans
- Deep Impact
- Girl, Interrupted
- Armageddon (x2)
- Annie Hall
- Apollo 13
- The Day After Tommorrow
- Dodgeball
- X-Men
- X2
- Little Women
everything i have seen after apollo 13 has been in the last two days.
so what is my favorite of the movies i've seen so far: oh i dont know. probably Deep Impact or Remember the Titans or Armageddon or Little Women. I dont know.
along with watching a lot of movies, i've also done a lot of crying. why is this? because i'm a complete sap. I cried in...Remember the Titans, both times I saw Armageddon, Apollo 13 (a little), Deep Impact and Little Women (a little). But I definitely cried really hard in Armageddon and Deep Impact. I just can't deal with sad goodbyes before saving the world from complete destruction.
really, i should be doing something more meaningful with my life. maybe writing cover-letters for internship applications. or reading books with meaning. or figuring out what i want to do with my life. but alas, i am only young once. and all of those things will get done i'm sure. so until then, i shall watch more movies and cry.
