Skechers year 4
Okay, so La Salle won the championship in this year's Skechers Streetdance Battle. As an Atenean and a big fan of the CADs, I should be outraged that we only won 2nd Runner-up, but I really honestly feel that they were deserving of the crown this time around.
Besides, this isn't like basketball. Dance is a performing art, and judging who did better isn't as simple as having a solid score board. It's much less objective. And I was very impressed, and very surprised, at how chummy Jesse and company were with the two La Salle members with whom they had a freestyle dance-off with. Talk about breaking down barriers.
I suppose it's safe to say that the rivalry between Ateneo and de La Salle does not extend to the dance floor. At least I didn't feel it.
Oh, and The Philippine All Stars were hot.
