Stupid untrustworthy jerks.
I've been expecting a package to arrive. Within this package is something that will hopefully make me feeling loads better. I haven't been sleeping well. In this package was an expensive memory foam mattress pad for my bed, which will hopefully restore a restful slumber. It was apparently delivered to my doorstep yesterday.
And yesterday I received no package, yet DHL claims they left it at the front door. Now, usually when something is delivered, if no one is there, they leave a note saying they'll try again. This is not the case. They left it on my doorstep. Allegedly.
Not knowing that they were doing that, I had left my old decrepit mattress outside the front door yesterday morning as well and posted it on Craigslist that whoever wants a new mattress can have it. It too was gone when I arrived home last night. Grateful it was picked up by someone, but pissed that that someone may have also spotted my brand new mattress pad and decided to take that too.
I'm still waiting to hear back from DHL on the status, but I'm betting some jerk stole it.
