Along with doing some little art projects for my apartment, I've been making big effort to do other things that will help me "self soothe."
For instance, exercise. Creates natural endorphins plus keeps me healthy. Monday night I went for a long walk, jogging half the way. Last night, I walked around the mall (Doesn't seem like exercise, but once you go from either end of the mall twice it's a lot!), and since the weather has been so lovely the past couple of days, this morning I got up early and walked to work. It only took me like 20 minutes and I feel great.
Tonight's plan to pamper thineself is to walk home after work, start some laundry, make dinner (experimental recipe of baked eggplant), and give myself a pedicure.
