**doing my part**
in response to Allegra's entreaty for friend updates, here's mine:
Gab is leaving for Florida tomorrow with Lauren and the Polaccos. even though we haven't been as BFFAE lately as we've been in the past, i plan on being a complete wreck anyway, lol. actually that's a lie, because i'm working two days, seeing Molly in Godspell one day (Wednesday night, and i need an accomplice or two! Allegra!), and showering the often neglected younger sibling, Diana, in my attentions at the movies one day. i'm going to try and keep busy so i don't call Gabbie every nine seconds. sometimes i really feel like her world can go on without me so easily, and mine is so hinged on hers. i feel like an idiot for it, to tell you the truth.

yesterday, i loafed around, bothering Gabbie, until 6, when i hit up Starbucks and guard practice with Dana, the fabulous. it is soooo strange being back there. we always used to try and remember the drill from the year before and perform it to intimidate the n00bz, but my last drill is now officially TWO YEARS OLD. i feel ancient, lol. i played around with a flag for a bit (i'm gonna buy myself one for Christmas, i think...) and talked to a bunch of awesome people, before heading home for dinner.
we ate with the Polaccos and talked about the final plans for Gabbie's trip with them. they are beyond amazing, and Frank Polacco is my new favorite person on this earth! i get a kick out of adults with penchants for cracking lewd jokes without coming off as a complete pedophile/psychopath/puppy killer. they just own at life, the whole family.
today, i woke up pretty late after a long night of trying to dub a mix CD onto a casette tape for my car, lol. Muddd found a new CD player, and mine died ages ago, so i was basically figuring that out all night...and it's still not done. after thinking Dad had my car at work, when it was parked out front all along, for a good half hour, i drove over to Dee's house and picked her up for a much-needed catch up lunch. we went to Panera and talked about everything ever, which i really missed, so it was a great outing, all in all. we're supposed to hit the beach sometime soon which i'm really excited about. cute :]
a presto, i'm doing nothing but watching CNN, to depress myself a little, and CMT, to lift my spirits some. i'm absolutely hell bent on going out tonight, so if you want me, let me know, lol!
