I spilled a beverage on my keyboard a short while back. Vile Coca-cola.
I tried cleaning it, I pulled it apart, washed it, tried removing all the sticky, gucky disgusting cola residue with cotton swabs dipped in rubbing alcohol.
It seems that all my efforts were for naught. Today the keyboard is resisting my every effort to type. Keys like the F, Z, left-ctrl, D, S are staying down when they are pressed.
Time to buy a new keyboard. Problem is that I really like this keyboard. Its a Benq x800, and hard to find. Most online stores are out of stock. Most local stores just feature clerks who stare blankly at me in some sort of geeky-social disruptive way when I ask about it. Time to go on a quest. A quest for a keyboard.
