Trying to be nice.
Ok so I wanted to give Kristen Stewart the benefit of the doubt. I just saw Twilight the other day with ebonyserpent and galvyn and I thought she was absolutely horrible in it. So then ebony was telling me that her character is just like that in the books, then I was like well maybe I'm being to hard on her and she's actually brilliantly portraying her. So, I went on youtube and looked up clips of movies she was in: Zathura, The cake eater, in land of women.
She is exactly the same in every single movie. She has literally no facial expressions, she keeps her mouth hanging open (like ali larter), she has no vocal range whatsoever(she doesn't even open her mouth wide to speak), and she lacks emotional range.
I wanted to be nice and it's true she is still young and she can always learn, but from my experience of watching literally over 1000 movies in my lifetime, she probably won't get better. It's weird to cause (especially younger) american actors seem to lack something. Not all but a majority, I don't think they will ever be as good as classically, theatre trained counterparts in England.
eh it's just my opinion.
If you want to see Kristen's suckage go see twilight. IF crappy teen romance is your cup of tea. If you want to save yourself the torture and the 8 bucks then just rent it or watch classic 80's teen romance instead. hehe corny but classic!
p.s. I love you ebony and I hate to be dissing on the movie especially since you paid. Thank you! I LOVE YOU!! like I said visually cool, and some of the acting was pretty good. But I just could not get past her. ugh. (and I thought I'd share with my flist since now all of your flist knows how I feel. hehe)
