sadness over takes me
A messed up fairy tail...

kneeling on the cold floor
she clasped her hands together
and looked up at the sky with tears in here eyes
with every tear that slowly made its way down to her chin
a lock was opened
a truth was unfolded.
as she kneeled silently
the only sound to be heard-
the shattering of her own heart.
she didn't deserve this
she didn't want to be treated like dirt
but they say everything happens for a reason
she groped around in the air
hoping to clasp that reason in her hands
she gently closed her eyes
as the last tear rolled down her lips
every tear asked a question
every tear wanted to know the truth
every tear was begging for freedom
in the end,
nothing mattered though
this was just a fairytale gone wrong
her fairy godmother never came
this was all just part of the game
