Bodynomials
The mister and I are taking a train to New York in a couple of days, and it's supposed to be a fun vacation full of adventure and birthdaytimes, but I have this bad ear infection. The unbearable, searing pain stage has passed, knock on wood, and the stage it's in now is just this very clogged up, numb, annoyingness. I can't hear hardly anything out of the one ear. I think I can hear normally out of the other ear--not sure--but either way, when I hear my voice inside my head it sounds to me to be at a different volume than what it apparently is, and it's very disorienting. I feel like I'm yelling, but I'm actually less audible than I usually am, according to sources. I'm also generally disoriented, due to all the utter wrongness going on in my inner ear, so I'm bumping into things a lot. Moving around at all gets me winded and I'm plagued with headaches, so I guess this trip (the first time I've ever been to New York City!) isn't going to live up to the high hopes I had for it, unless my ears and stuff get better on their own (which was my original expectation, but it has been a week now with no improvements). Everyone says I need antibiotics, but the free clinics I checked into have a couple week's wait for new patients, and we're leaving on Thursday, so screw it, I've lived for 28 years without a doctor, I can handle this.
What I'm really concerned with now is how far behind I'm bound to fall in my math class if I'm gone for a week. I've already been effectively gone for the last week due to being sick, and it's only a six week class, so it's accelerated. I'm technically supposed to be working on about three hours of the maths per day. If I want to catch up just minimally, I supposedly have to put in a good twenty hours of math before Thursday, and then another fifteen or so while I'm on vacation, which I can only do in places with wireless internet because it's an online hybrid class that runs off this website that right now is just FAILING to run correctly, so I'm not writing in here to avoid doing math homework, no, I'm just waiting for my other tab to stop beachballing and accept my answer of y=-2x+-3 godddaaammmnniiitt!!!1
