That was at Lemonjello's, and the sound wasn't optimal. I guess his voice was supposed to have some reverb on it? They played with the wonderful Glowfriends, whom I also recorded. I'll put some of that up on youtube later too, probably. Also, videos of Battle Station romping. You can't wait!
I thought I might keep my streak of joke jobs going, so I interviewed for a position as a DJ for proms and weddings. I didn't get it though. The dude who interviewed me kept finding different ways to phrase the question, "are you outgoing?" and I couldn't lie to any of them. I'm just not capable of being disingenuous, even if a lolzjob is on the line. meh.
I applied to be a Page at the public library. That is the job I want. I had to take an alphabetization and Dewey Decimal test, which was very easy, and I can't imagine I got any of the questions wrong. Jammy, who was recently hired there, told my they were very impressed when he got 100% on the test. He said they said they were only looking for 50%, and most people didn't get that. He, and now I, was surprised to hear that... because the thing was seriously very easy, and short. I was told that if I didn't do well enough on the test, I'd get a letter telling me so, and if I did do well enough, I'd get a call if a position becomes available. I didn't get a letter, so I'm just hoping a position opens up. I'm not holding my breath, though.
