Why is it that I can be a perfect friend to complete strangers, but when it comes to people I know, I do a really shitty job at the whole friendship thing?
Hearing from you made my day....
Why does everyone make such a big deal about being popular? I'm sorry, but spending hundreds of dollars on brand name clothes and having sex is not going to make you popular. So, yeah. Maybe you'll have all the guys calling your house, wanting you to date them. But in the end, you'll be the one getting hurt by every single one of them. And maybe you will have a few so-called "friends" but before you know it they will run stab you in the back and you'll be hurt by them. So, why does it matter so much to everyone? Be true to yourself. If people like you then they do, but if people don't like you, it is their loss. Don't conform to their rules and standards. Don't change yourself to be popular. In twenty years no one is gonna care. Hell, you could be the one making all the money. Will it matter if you will popular? When you fill out a job application they aren't going to say "Please state where you went to high school and how many friends you had." Or "How many parties did you get drunk and laid at in high school."
People need to stop acting so 4th grade.
Friends are supposed to be that, friends. Don't lie to your friends. Don't break promises. Once my trust is gone, it doesn't ever come back. Sorry about your luck.
As much as it seems I am complaining. I had a BEYOND awesome day. Wish everyday went like this.........
