My dreams are often bizarre and seriously disturbing. I wouldn't have it any other way - although that might just be because in said dreams, I always win.

I don't know if you deliberately connected the "NIIIIIIIGHT-MAAAAAAAARRRRRRRE!" with the Frau Blücher/whinnying, but I like it.

I'm with you on the Scrooge McDuck-type dreams. Sometimes the most innocuous-seeming things can be far more terrifying in dreams than any of the normal scary stuff (although nuclear Armageddon is pretty terrifying in just about any context). I can't seem to think of any good examples at the moment, though. I did have kind of a weird dream last night, but I think I'm going to write about it on my LJ.
