the Update
My weekend was interesting. Since it technically starts on Thursdays for me, after martial arts on Thursday Adam wanted to go to Applebees so Spoofobaggins and I went with him. They had Long Island Ice Teas and got drunk, I drove everyone home.
Friday was agentsilver's birthday, so I drove down there. Traffic prevented me from seeing Casino Royale with everyone else, but I did make it back in time for dinner. The dinner plan was to go to Applebees. A couple of them had martinis and while not drunk, were probably buzzed.
Saturday a number of people from my martial arts school (including my instructor) went to Alex Wilkie's martial arts school, since it's apparently a sister school of sorts, for a seminar on trapping and basic knife usage (as in, where to stab that will end the fight very, very quickly). After the seminar ended, since we carpooled down there, we figured we should get some dinner. The consensus was to go to Applebees and most of them got beer.
Sunday very little happened and I did not go to Applebees, nor did people around me get drunk. I was thankful for that.
Monday I had a sleep study. Specifically it was to test for sleep apnia. No telling when the results will be in, though frankly, I doubt it's apnia. Didn't sleep well there cause the bed was small and about as comfortable as a Drew bed without putting the mattress crates in.
Tuesday I mostly spent sleeping.
Today I got a call from my boss at the Aphasia Center. As of January I will be a Computer Coach there, basically a paid position working at the computer lab. I'm still working towards finding another job on top of that. It looks great on a resume, and juggling multiple jobs would be even nicer... on top of making better amounts of money. So here's to hoping Wachovia gets back to me soon enough.
Tommorow I'm heading down to Florida for Thanksgiving and a full week. Primarily it's to spread the ashes of my grandparents, since my grandfather died a year ago and we never got around to a funeral. It's also ultimately a vacation. Awesomeness. Then after I get back it's time to head to Revels. Even more awesomeness. So now I'm off to pack.
