Supernatural isn't just a show.
Superantural isn’t just a show to me. It’s about friendships and more. Because of the show I have made/met so many friends/people. These friendships have helped me out real recently(I don’t even want to think how I’d be with out them). Back in June I went on a 2 week vacation to visit a friend in Washington. It was the worst vacation ever. I didn’t even have a good time. I had $1,200 stolen from my debit card, most likely my so called friend (haven’t even heard from her since) and my grandmother died in the middle of the trip. I get back home and 1 week later I had to unpack just to repack for her service in Wisconsin (I am from Wyoming). I get back from all that fun and my friend/department manager fucks up and is fired, I step up, doing all the manager shit (not even asked to) and of course no thank you (go figure). Finally we get a new manager that is a complete dick (hostile work invironment, among other things). I put up with this for months. Way back in September I then decide on going to the SFcon. My plan was to make the convention the best way to kick off the new year and to help me forget about my summer vacation and everything else going on at work (and it worked). Now for most of you out there in LJ land, you don’t know this about me but I have OCD (hair pulling). I have had this since I was in 6th grade (almost 20 yrs now). The length of my hair in my pic is the longest it’s been in 9 yrs. At the time of the convention it had been 3 months of no pulling (and still counting). this is all due to the fact that I wanted to feel comfortable enough to not have to wear a hat in my photo ops. I actually got to tell Jensen and Jared thank you for being who they are and doing what they do. I even told them how they, and the show have helped with the OCD. Jared even told me good luck and conrats about it all. So in conclusion, (I could go on and on but…) Supernatural has helped me in many ways (friends, OCD, getting through life, etc). It is my 1 hr per week to get away from the real world and my ‘sport’ (I yell at the tv at times lol). So yes I will be a bit pissed at the CW for moving SPN on such short notice. I will survive (and calm down) though. Frustrated but alive lol ;)
