Our teeny tiny backyard was a place that had some weird kind of grass growing in tiny patches along with weeds. The rest of the area was clay which when you dig up, you get the remnants from during the construction times. While we were gone to India, N got the land evened out, some soil put and a nice lawn laid. The place still needs a lot of work ( Read more... )

Nice pictures, M! I love how your garden grows. :)

Yeah I used to be force-fed the juice of the Spanish thyme leaves: "To clear out the phlegm!"

Thank you. Never had something growing of this kind and i am thrilled.
Exactly! That is what i have them growing for too. As a kid, i used to beg my grandmom for more :P So no force feeding here.

Wow...this is the second post I saw today about gardens. Reminds me again that I havent posted of my balcony-garden yet this year. I will this weekend. Yours is a beautiful garden too! Loved the veggies and shanku pushpi.

How did you get to put pictures with a frame? And static, I mean they are not clickable?

You should. I would love to see what you've got growing.
Thank you. For a first timer, i am pretty content how things have shaped up.

I used paintshop to get the frame, uploaded them onto flickr and then used the URL here. The static part, i am not sure though.

Mine is more of flowers than fruit and veggies, primarily because I have a very small space. I will share definitely.

How did you paste the URL here, when I tried, it gave me a blank image, rather than an image? I am sure I am doing something stupid. LOL!

Hmmm... i click on all sizes option on top of the picture in the flickr page. Choose the size i want. Copy the URL and then in the LJ post, i click on the icon symbol, which opens up a window. There i paste the URL i copied. Picture gets inserted.
