Meteorologists Suck!

All in all my weekend was ok.  It would have been so much better if I would have ignored the weather warnings and did stuff.  They still wouldn’t back down on a forecast for rain, and it NEVER happened - bastard meteorologists!

I really wanted to do a nice long hike and work out my toe a bit.  Sunday was just overcast and blah.  And the next few days look awesome, but SUPER hot - why couldn’t that happen over the weekend?

I did finally get to meet aeryn and eric Saturday night at Bound.  It was a GRATE time indeed.  Aeryn has this total midwestern vibe going on, which is always comforting for a Kansas girl like myself.  I met a lot of cool people Saturday, and got to hang out a bit with the lovely Emily (I pretty much stayed glued to my barstool, as my toe wasn’t too happy confined to shoes)

Aeryn is just super cool and sweet, and I truly regret all the past negative things I have thought and said about her - I was definitely wrong, and I humbly apologize.  I can not even begin to explain how embarrassed and ashamed for prior events, I can tell you that I have learned from it though.

The best thing is Aeryn is a singer too.  We chatted about voice lessons, and doing musicals and stuff.  Turns out she plays piano, bass, and I think violin too, so we have a keyboardist if Derek ever wishes to realize his human league dream.

Thinking about doing body for life, my friend Meggan swears by it.  Basically it is eating healthy food and exercising.  You should eat 6 small meals a day (including some mycoplex shake and nutrition bar) to keep your metabolism up, cardio interval sessions 3 times a week, and intense weight lifting 3 times a week.  The best thing is one day a week is a free day!

This week looks busy.  Tomorrow going to my parents so Derek can help my dad, Wednesday is Collage 80’s flashback at the Wadsworth, Thursday is Finance picnic (disc golf) and going to see the Terminal advanced screening if we get there in time, Friday I have a physical, and Saturday is Meggan’s crazy hat “cinco de mayo en junio” party and I am bringing empanadas - yummy!
