No Thank You
Well, I have tried it and I have discovered I do not handle unemployment very well, For those just tuning in I was laid off last Friday. The division I was working for was sold to another company and the division I was working for is moving it's operations back east.
It has been a whole week and I have realized that unemployment really does not suit me. I have to be busy. I have tried the sleep in late (which really means 8am-ish) and the go to lunch or otherwise keep myself occuppied thing and have been only successful in finishing off a book I started.

Hopefully others are more content than I am with time off.
