Yay for Concerts!

I have not completely fallen off the face of the planet (I think), although you would never know it from how often I post on this.

Tonight I went to the Billy Joel/ Elton John concert (the one that was originally supposed to happen last summer). It was awesome!

They started with “Your Song” and then sang “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me,” which I liked better than the original. It was really cool to have both Billy Joel and Elton John singing each other’s songs. They also seperatly sang their really well know songs. I was surprised it lasted as long as it did (about 3 and ½ hours). And “Piano Man” was a great ending.

I couldn’t decide whether I felt young because we were some of the youngest people at the concert and a lot of the songs were written before I was born, or old because I knew all the songs (including when Billy Joel picked up a guitar and had one of his Roadies sing “highway to hell,” which was awesome).

That was a good way to almost start break... (yay for class tomorrow)
