Wow, I haven't written in here in awhile.
Teaching is very bipolar. Most days the kids are normal human beings, but sometimes they are truly insane... i've had everything from 13 year old boys try to sit in my lap, to girls screaming at me that they hate my class.
Last night was fun though. We had a staff party and I pulled out the stillettos. Sweet Jaime called me a shoe whore and all was well. I won the contest and got a gift card to Walmart on top of my Thanksiving bonus... (bonuses for everything at my school, it rocks) Then I went Latin dancing and learned to salsa, meringue, and cha cha. Old men kept asking me to dance, it was cute until one of them started trying to paw me. Ewwwwww.
I auditioned for a musical a week ago and i haven't heard from them... It's probably for the best, I don't have enough time to do things as it is. I think I just miss being around theatre people. I get blank looks from other teachers when I go off on a theatre rant.
tired... grumpy... a bit lonely... bright side: Three days till I can leave to go see my sister for thanksgiving!!!!
