1ST SUMMER BREAK - LP/WORK/FIGHT/FAMILY&FRIENDS
Continuing on my summer break post haha this is so late gosh.
LP
- once-in-a-lifetime experience that taught me so much in 3 months. Words really can't express the love, trust, empowerment, inspiration and motivation that I personally experienced and witnessed in others :') Thank you all for everything <3
Our WOW day @ Marymount centre! The kids were simply so adorable and trusting, opening up to us so quickly and playing their hearts out during the games we planned. And we raised $33000 in less than 2 weeks!!! Was so amazing and really glad we went all out for the orphanage, especially when we know the difference it would make.

3rd Weekend with buddies Yoek, Arif and everyone else!!! For once all of us in the same place geographically haha. Felt so surreal the day after we graduated. Thankful for the wonderful seniors we had, the awesome people i was with throughout the journey and to everyone who made a difference =]
Internship @ SOT!
Went back to SOT where work is always play yay!!. this time tzelin was interning too! exciting work, broader national scope made me feel so extremely heartened :') going thru the calendar and we couldnt believe one year had passed only and so many htings have changed!
My boss with his hoodie bought from Korea and our daily efforts to make him eat more healthily haha

Open Invitational Championships Vol 4
Honestly, defeat was hard to stomach especially when i had put in my heard and soul into training. Training 6 days a week for the last 3 weeks while juggling work was crazy but possible thanks to the encouragement of those I trained with and the understanding and support of loved ones.
Before the announcement I held on to the hope that i could win, and when I didnt, couldn't quite stop the onslaught of tears and disappointment.
Looking back, I know I had given my best, it is enough, and i am going to come back again stronger than ever.
Thanks to all - muay thai exco, LP mates, oli, mich, weihong, zile and all those who came down to support me or sent their well wishes :)

What I loved most about summer break was being able to spend time with people that I love. Perhaps this summer break was most special because I got to spend a lot more time with qiqi and family. Took plenty o walks around the neighbourhood, had family meals, more heartfelt conversations and all the other small things that really matter to me.
Also managed to catch up with kelly freda and joce! Primary sch friends are priceless, they knew you when you were at your most childish, they know your stupidest moments and still love you anyway haha.
Went back to KHS with freda and kelly, had so much fun just exploring the place, recalling all the things we did ('guarding' the staircases when we were prefects), doing more hilarious things to add on to the memories
Picnicked with Kelly and Joce @ Botanic Gardens and then went to Antoinette :)
Last but not least, spent time with weihong as well :) Did more cooking cos I know he loves homecooked food. The first few times were unspectacular but I gradually improved (or so he says hahaha)! Honestly he is a way better cook than I am haha. I need to find my inner domestic goddess! Went rockclimbing together too, all the way @ Yishun to make some use of his pretty useless SAFRA card haha.
More or less sums up my fantastic summer break, I think people say that uni is the best time of our lives partly because of the wonderful 4 months of free time haha.
