Anyway Vera and I went to visit our Asiawork buddies this Tuesday! They own an art gallery - 2902 @ Old School and the place is so artsy and cool! Check out the office wall!! Painted by two of the artists working with them
Parts of the huge art gallery -
& Gwen prepared lunch for all of us =D We didn't jsut have salad of course, but I didn't take any pictures of the complete spread of food haha. It's amazing how connections can be made if we risk it. Seriously, never imagined that one day I will have real adult friends who treat me as an equal, other than my piano teacher & primary school tuition teacher.
Saw this artwork at the gallery, Vera and I were instantly enamored and turns out that the artist is pretty well known and successful - John Clang. Coincidentally, on the very next day at the Singapore International Foundation talk, the magazine given out featured him in one of the articles!
Met up with Carmen whom I got to know from the documentary sessions on Thurs and we had a splendid 'first date' hahaa. Never would have imagine myself speaking and sharing about my life with someone I barely met and have the person do the same as well! This year has been really amazing and mindblowing, what with the meaningful connections made, the self discovery of many things I was unconscious of beforehand, the things I learnt about work, the world, and people. May these never stop!
