Tornado

Ahh...tornadoes...i'll get back to that...(gotta keep ya wondering)

So this weekend was Megan's graduation party back in St. Louis. We left Chicago around 7am on Saturday and got to St. Louis around 12ish. Then we spent 3 hours at The Mills (a mall). Megan got the cutest dress for her party and I won two prizes from the machines and gave them to her...that's love. So from the mall we went to her parent's house and chilled a little and then picked up one of her friends that was flying in from Seattle. Then we went to target and I got some really awesome boxers. I love working again because I have money to spend on things that I don't really need, it's great.

What was really great though was meeting more of her family and friends on Sunday at the party. The only bummer really was that Megan got sick. She still isn't feeling well and in fact is feeling worse today. I think I got her sick. She insisted on taking care of me and that was two weeks ago so she was been fighting the cold for about a week. She still had a really good time though, she's a trooper.

Ok the tornado...we drove back today and left around 11:45. It was a beautiful drive until we got to about Bloomington. Then half way between Bloomington and Chicago it really started raining hard and there was a ton of lightning. Then the rain started to come and go really quickly. As we were driving we looked out the window in front of us and there was this massive thing from the sky to the ground. The closer the got the more we were like is that just rain or something else...well sure enough all the dirt from the fields were rising to this mass...my heart started racing and I was about ready to piss myself. It was a tornado getting ready to be a tornado...So the next thing I know is that I am driving about 90-95 miles an hour and so is everyone else on the road. I was freaked out...Kory (one of our friends that drove with us) was looking out the back window and saying how cool and freaky it was...and Megan was on the phone then got off and was just saying "Babe its ok," God I love her, she calmed me down pretty quick and we were safe. So that is as close as I ever want to be to one of those...fun times.

Well, I want to shower or take a bath, I haven't decided yet. So I hope everyone is having a great summer so far and if not I hope it gets better! Ta ta for now.
