Matt is back
For the imesurable joy of all who reads this journal (I.E. Paul) I will hereby attempt to follow your wishes, and chalk down some uninterresting shit that's going on in my life;
1. I'm editing my film now. The shooting is all done, at least 99% of it. The fun part is really editing the shit, getting the audio mix just right and the transitions between scenes. I never knew just 10ths of a second could make so much differance to an entire scene. I have complete renewed respect for all those making movies. Acting was new to me as well. Luckily, Martin did a great job replacing me as director while I was acting. We tried for a while with me running back and forth to the camera, checking sound, picture and lighting. But it was impossible to concentrate on the acting that way...
2. I'm probably going to quit my job, basically becoming a bum. Walking the earth, etc etc... Well, not quite, but I will be taking some serious time off, just trying to figure out what it is I want to do. Going to put some more time into my music and my band, but also the writing, filming and otherwise creating stuff will get it's time. Maybe I'm being irresponsible and/or childish but I promise all of you (I.E. Paul) that I will take full responsability of this and will not complain when I suffer economically or emotionally for this. I just need to try this and I don't care that it's not expected of me.
3. I hope my girlfriend will support me. I think she will. She's pretty great. I love my girlfriend. Without her support I'll...... have to do it on my own.
4. Getting some gigs for the band, finally. Fun and good for the creative energy flow. Too many songs are coming out now, I would like to build a damme and block it for when it's needed, when I have drought. Too bad that's not possible. Guess I'll have to cook while the pan is hot etc etc..
