I decided to rebel a bit yesterday and skipped my math class. I just didn't feel like agonizing through nearly two-and-a-half hours of tutorials on how to solve simple algebraic equations. Instead, I found a quiet area on campus and studied for my social psychology class. When I got tired of doing that, I wandered the building aimlessly--seeing if I could find anything interesting.

I traveled to the far-east portion of the building when I was suddenly entranced by the sound of an orchestra. I let the light wails of the violins and bases lure me into the Arts Center lobby, where there was a rehearsal going on. I found my self taking a seat in one of the lobby chairs, pulling out a book, and studying as they practiced in the background. It was so nice. I felt so content.

As I sat there, a tinge of longing crept into my chest. I realized I wanted to listen to that orchestra forever. If only I had been able . . .

college . . . blech., just plain randomness
