//Yes! I don't know if you've checked out Beeman's blog post on the finale yet or not but the he really sweated those last five minutes.//
Just read it! I think I care for those moments even more now, knowing how much the cast and crew put into it.
//It had my eyes rolling many a time but never pissed me off.//
I think the Jor-El thing, for me, came close to pissing me off. But then, I've reconciled myself to the fact that clearly the show and I never viewed the character the same way.
//Having Lex back was a great treat even if his return was a bit contrived and the mind wipe was a cheat. (His intel on Clark isn't written down anywhere?)//
I was just saying this in a comment to another review, but I'm starting to think I might be the only one who read the memory thing as inconclusive? I'm just not sure it was really proven that the goop actually worked, and that too, long term.
Agreed about Tess, but I still really wish we could've gotten a scene of Clark and preferably Oliver too, just atleast acknowledging her.
//The SV take made Darkseid more of a psychological threat than a physical one. So it made sense to me that most of the battle would be Clark getting his head straight.//
True. But really, worst.big bad.ever. I was comparing other villain arc and nothing came close IMO to this level of crapcakes.
