//You didn't miss anything. It was another one of those offscreenville reveals to Lois that we've been getting this season, and that I am well past tired of at this point.//
Heh, OK, so I didn't miss anything then. Yeah, it just seems to be one of those instances of SV' 'tell, don't show' policy.
//I know some like to talk about Clark and Tess' chemistry but IMO Tess has always had better chemistry with Lois than Clark IMO. Lois and Tess could be a force to be reckoned with if they ever truly teamed up on something IMO.//
I actually think CF has great chemistry with pretty much everyone on the show, for the most part. Definitely with TW and ED in spades, IMO, but I also saw sparks of it with AM in early S8. And even with JH, with whom admittedly I hadn't seen much of earlier - I' think they've been bouncing off each other great so far this season.
//I honestly do not think we are going to see Lois taking shifts at Watchtower or something//
I hope so, because it's really not something I want to see on a regular basis.
//Usually, for me, SV always starts out a season strong, and then becomes mostly a mess in the second half, especially during seasons 7 and 8 IMO. (Season 9 looked that way too until Salvation aired and now, in retrospect, I think it's more cohesive than it first seemed). I hope this just means we're in for a better, more fluid second half leading up to the end because, at the moment? I'm not as happy as I was hoping to be with this season.//
Well, you already know my thoughts on the season so far, but yes, I definitely agree that in retrospect the back half of S9 seems to flow better. There are some decent eps in there furthering the Zod storyline in particular, and I appreciate that. I think the problem, or atleast one of them, that the show is having this year is the fact that they're juggling ::way:: too many storylines - there's the Lex!clones, VRA, SS, Darkseid, etc. It's just too much for them to handle, IMO.
