The thing I most appreciated about this ep was how it allowed a mixing up of dynamics and character interactions I liked that too. I like Clark and Lois together but it was a nice change of pace to have them apart for a change. Like a breath of fresh air.
Cat Grant, for me, was the real revelation. Yes! I didn't know what to expect from Cat and yet what she turned out to be was... totally unexpected, if that makes sense. And in a good way.
I was disappointed not to see any Tess and clone!Alexander scenes but I quite liked her scene with Oliver, actually I guess they have to tease the lil' Lex stuff over the course of the season. Unfortunately.
I can very much believe Clark when he says that after all that Chloe has said about treating her as part of the team, etc, we have to trust in her plan, for now. Me, I'm kind o 50-50 between Clark actually trusting in Chloe's plan vs knowing Oliver well enough the he needs to dissuade Oliver from sticking his nose into said plan and screwing it up, whatever it is. A kryptonite taser in the the back comes to mind here. I kind of hope Clark decides to try to take a peek behind the curtain all on his own without Oliver's emotionality there to muck everything up.
I just can't seem to buy, at all, this great epic love of all time between him and Chloe. What?!? But he's her knight in shining leather! *snicker*
