//Clark's apology doesn't even make sense given that they all knew that when Davis was bonded to Doomsday, Davis. couldn't. be. killed.//
SO True. And a point I had admittedly overlooked. Well now, this just makes me hate the scene even more, if that were possible.
//Lois never represented 'normal' for Oliver the way Lana arguably did for Clark, so presenting Oliver as pining for Lois or wishing things between them could be what they were doesn't work, not within the midst of whatever this downward spiral is supposed to be about.//
::nods:: The whole thing seems to have popped outta nowhere. I can't imagine why/how the writers possibly think this is good storytelling.
//I loved the way Clark was all, "I gave you one thing to do, and you couldn't even manage that." Because it's exactly what I was thinking.
//I've seen people argue that she may have started talking about the Blur AT FIRST but near the end of her little speech she was talking about Clark, I guess I have to rewatch.//
I think the wank might be strong with that one, heh. No, but jokes aside, it certainly is a POV. I don't necessarily agree, but I can see why that conclusion could be met. For me though, I didn't interpret it that way, and the whole thing was a little cringeworthy, to be honest.
But on the whole, as far as Clois go, the ep definitely shone.
//I happen to have a thing for sword fights.// Oh, yeah! me too :)
//But here, with the chemistry and the looks, and the hand grabbing. Very well played.//
couldn't agree more. This scene was very hot and his face was so seductive. I loved it. He maybe stopped her hand from punching him to let her know that the "buddies" days are over.

You could very well be right. Whatever it was though, there was a certain magnetism to the scene, there's no denying that.
