Avery had finally gotten Lulu to sleep, the kitchen cleaned, the living room cleaned, and the apartment was quiet. He sighed and looked out his sliding glass door towards the ocean. He loved having Lulu whenever she visited, and lately it was one of the few things that cheered him up. He missed Nina like crazy and wanted her to be there so bad. He pulled his cell phone from his pocket and dialed her number, then held the phone to his ear. He stood by the balcony door and waited as it rang.
