I get to go pick out birthday presents at Kinokuniya books tomorrow. *giddy* I haven't been there in forever, so my internal list of books I have to own has gotten disgustingly long. This also means that very little of my birthday is going to be a surprise. Yay. I've come to the sad realization that there is nothing in my control to prevent aging, so, taking the surprise away from it helps--a lot. I'm determined (much like every year?) for this birthday to be good. The knowledge, however, that it would take a national disaster to top last years, is relatively comforting.
