If I take Japanese this summer, and take 3 classes about Japan (history, art, music, etc. etc I think there was even one about Japanese cooking), then by the end of next year, I'll have minored in Japanese. This makes me giddy.
That, and I would only have to take, I think, four or five more classes to major in it.
