New Years
Recap:
This last year has been insane. The biggest thing to happen in my life was that I moved to England. The last year has been pretty good, and really intese.
It started out a bit sad, as David had passed away 2 moths prior, but time passed, and I was able to heal and things took flight. I quickly made the decision to move to England for Uni, and a few moths later, off I went. My life has been a blur since about April. I have managed to get settled over here, and made some really nice friends, some of which will be life long. I miss my friends from America, and have managed to keep in touch with many of you in some way or another. THANK GOD for the internet! I was able to take some time out to do some soul searching, which was needed. I have started Uni, and started photographing lots of local bands, even making a bit of money on occasion! Woop Woop! Yeah, its been a pretty intense year, a year of growth and change. I am looking forward to next year, and the suprises it will bring.
My New Years Night:
Wow, it was awesome. I admit, I didn't have high expectations for the night, but was proven very wrong. I woke up at about 8 AM with horrid stomach pains. Took a massive amount of pain killers, and was fianally able to go back to sleep at about 10AM. Woke up a few hours later, and hung out with my housemate Chris, who was terrible attentive, and managed to cheer me up. Bless him. (Chris and I recently decided to live together again next year, HOORAY!)
I started to get ready for my night out in the late afternoon. Got a call requestinng my presence in Liverpool a bit earlie, so I set off into town at about 6PM, looking supper dolled up. Arrived, and then went on an adventure to the Albert Docks (in heels!) Hahahaha. Picture this folks,....me, in a skirt and heels walking around the docks and climbing in and out of a big boat in the rain. It was funny, and good fun.
Then met up with Lisa and Emma at a HUGE club "The Krazy House" (3 floors of variouse Rock/Metal/Emo music). We chilled out and had a drink, and started dancing at about 10:30. I got hit on by a few guys, which was flattering, but mainly funny! We ended up damcing and drinking till about 3AM then we took a cab home. God, it was so much fun!
