Ick.
I now have a reverse farmer's tan, in case you ever wondered if that was possible. A reverse farmer's burn, actually.
Me being the brilliant little girl I am, I decided I was going to get rid of my farmer's tan, which is probably left over from last marching season. So lately I've been putting on suntan lotion on the bottom parts of my arms, but not where sleeves usually go, and wearing tank tops. This never actually did anything before now, and I've continued to be an absolutely painful-to-look-at shade of bright white. Today, though, I went bicycling, then went to the park by the dam, then went swimming for about 3 hours. And of course, I ended up burned. Goddamn me. I went from my shoulders not being able to tan to save my life to having very burned, very painful shoulders.
Anyway. We took Charley to the boat ramp today, where he had his first swimming lesson. It was so cute! We actually got him to go into the water and swim out to me by using treats. So maybe he'll be a water dog. (Tasha absolutely hates water, which is probably my fault for carrying her into the swimming pool and just letting her swim to the steps when I was trying to teach her to swim. Oh well.)
Aaaand...Mom and I have finally started our driving lessons again! Yes! The stupid lessons are so boring, though. It's all common sense stuff that I've been learning for the past year during in-car instruction. I've been driving for a year now, and we've covered the first two sections in the curriculum. But we've probably covered close to everything else, just not in the correct order or with all of the book's terminology and shit. Man I hate the lesson plans. They're really really boring and mundane, just the same thing repeated 5 different ways, and for the most part it doesn't say anything important. Oh well. The sooner we do all the lessons, the sooner we're over with it.
This week, since Mom's home for a few days, I get to go shopping for school clothes stuffs. Shoes, bras, nice fancy-ish clothes, and possibly jeans. If you were to ask me my LEAST favourite things to shop for, those would definitely be at the top. That will be suuuch a fun trip. But hopefully I'll get some Vans or something cool for my shoes.
