First of all, I want to say that everybody did awesome. And I mean everybody. They all did an amazing job, especially of course MR. Rosenbaum, we all know you're a great actor, and with this episode, you just amazed me. So good.
And erm, okay I’m not so good with the whole Zod/Superman mythology talk, I haven’t seen every single episode, I’m not as familiar with it as some of you so I won’t be talking much about that. Which sucks, because I so wish that I understood it better. And that I were simply more articulate. I envy those who are so good at discussions. I’m so bad with words! OMG the beginning. OMG!
Lexana! Lex! Lana! Asleep. Lana on Lex! Gah!!! I rewound that little moment so many times it’s not even funny. See, when people said that they were spooning, I figured that they were on the couch with, you know, Lex behind Lana with his arm around her. But no, it’s even fucking better than that! Lana is ON TOP of Lex! And the image so… so sweet. One arm being around her waist and the other holding her wrist. Ha, I knew it! I knew that Lex was a secret cuddler. And they both look so content just to be lying there on the couch. But we were deprived of a kiss scene! There were even caps of them kissing that were left right off from the last Lexana scene from the previous episode. I was hoping it would be shown here. Guess not. But you know what, that’s okay. Because seeing the intimacy of them just sleeping together was enough for me. *mumble* still waiting for that sex scene though.
They also cut the scene with Lex ripping out of that bubble… condom looking thing. Oh, and Lana running to Lex’s arms on the rooftop. Bastards! I hope they include those in the deleted scenes on the DVD.
Okay I’m really exhausted for some reason. My head isn't fully on straight today. There are things I want to talk about, but I can’t seem to put them into words eloquently enough or make sense about them, so I’ll just say that, this episode? Rocks. I loved it all, the beginning scene with Lexana, Lex’s scene with Lionel, Lex shooting his hand and Lana’s reaction and telling her about him. Telling her he’s always loved her! The Clex fight, oh God such a great scene. Kinda fast forwarded through the Martha/Lois scenes though, heh. And the Clana scene. Finally, a Clana scene I like.
All right, I know that Chlark is pwning others. But Lexana? Fucking pwns me like nobodies business. Lexana is fucking consuming me. Yes I realize the lameness of that sentence, shut up lol. But it’s true and I will not deny that. I would pay money to see "Lexanaville".
Back to the acting, though. Kristin Kreuk. She has always gotten a lot of crap, people saying how she can’t act and that her expressions are limited. But Wow. She totally impressed me, especially in the scene when Lex shot his own hand. And also in her scene with Clark. I’m absolutely loving seeing Lana with a backbone. KK has come a long way in her acting ability from when she began. I don’t want to hear anymore shit about how she can’t act her way out of a paper bag, because I'm not believing it. I truly believe she gave it her all in this one. So yeah, good job Kreuk! And on a shallow note, she was looking fucking gorgeous in this episode.
The Chlark kiss. I can't call myself a Chlark fangirl just yet. It doesn't bother me, but it doesn't make me squee like it does many other people. Sorry! I only have one thing to say though; Clark had ten times more chemistry with Chloe than he ever had with Lana. And Lana has ten times more chemistry with Lex than she ever did Clark.
Yay, we got to see a little bit of Lana kicking ass! And wearing leather. Ohh yeah, hee.
Okay, the shot with the camera panning up to Zod!Lex on the rooftop? Wearing Leather? That has got to be one of the best shots ever. The Lexana kiss was awesome, and with the camera panning overthem to the gloomy city. So, so good. Oh and the speech Lana gave Lex. I’m just, agh, if only it were really Lex and he had heard the speech. But no. Damn it. Lex needed to hear that little speech!

All right. There it is, the end of season 5. This was a fucking awesome season. I’m so glad that from this season, we got episodes like Lexmas, Lockdown, some others, and the season finale. YOU ROCKED ME. And with almost each episode of this season, I become more and more in love with Lexana. Thank you. I’m so glad that I no longer hate the pairing; that I am now fucking head over heels in LOVE with it and I don’t care if that pisses people off. Anyways. I was worried that I would not be satisfied with this season, but thank you for proving me wrong.
Great finish to a good season, and uh… see ya next season, SV!
