Some cities on Mars have parades for Halloween. Large ones, with crowds of people and giant balloons that take the effort of twenty or more handlers to hold down and move along the parade route. Even if you don't care about the day itself, they're always a good place to blend in and watch people

Halloween did seem like a bigger production than Thanksgiving the last time I was on Mars for either. Are you a fan of balloons?

I'm... not bad. How are you?

I think they're fun even if they don't last very long. My sister likes them more.

I'm fine, thank you. I got to watch the truth and daring.

You have a sister?

I haven't played anything like that since I was a teenager. I didn't mind not being affected.

Two sisters, two brothers and a brother-sister to be exact.

There were some very creative dares floating around.

You come from a big family. If you're Death, what does that make them?

I saw a few. You were unaffected, too?

They're Destiny, Dream, Destruction, Despair, Desire, and Delirium, we're the Endless. I don't see them all that often. Except for my brother in the City these days.

Not for that day. It was very fun watching anyway. What was the strangest dare you got?

...That's a lot of D's. I have to admit I've never believed much in destiny.

I didn't get any personally, but I did see a few over-the-top confessions and hear a few people singing as loud as possible in public. One person on the Network dared almost everybody she talked to to dye their hair pink.

She was persistent, I'll give her that.
