Well it certainly has been awhile. This would be my first journal entry since moving here to Oklahoma. Alot has happened since I've moved, and yet, alot hasn't happened. I've changed my liscense, my phone, and got registered at a new (and by new I mean new to me) Indian hospital. I went to Arkansas and saw George Strait, again. I've went duck hunting and gigging and skeet shooting. I've even almost rode a horse (and by "almost" I mean touching the horse). But I still haven't found a job, I still haven't taken my AZ tags off my truck, I'm still not getting along with my cousin, and I still haven't forgotten all my friends in AZ and elsewhere.
I've been going to church regularly and I'm starting to feel a need to go to church. I like it a lot. I know my grandfather would be happy to see me sitting in that pew every Monday, Wed., and Sunday. Thats right I go every Monday night, Wed. night, and twice on Sunday. So Mike, you could say I'm 4X as holy as you. All joking aside, this church has made me feel welcome. All of the people in the congregation (not many, maybe 25) are really kind to me. It helps to have something to look forward to.
I've been reading a lot since I've gotten here. Books I've read: The Da Vinci Code, War of the Worlds, and Everything is Illuminated. You guys should really read Everything is Illuminated it's very very good. I've purchased some other books which I will be reading shortly, A Catcher in the Rye, Desolation Angels, and The Archivist, which I'm currently reading.
I don't know what else to say, I'm doing fine and this long job-break, is kind of nice. But I'm feeling antsy, I need a job. Anyways, I love all you guys.

JAKE

P.S. watch "THE MOTORCYCLE DIARIES" it's really good.
