My day at vic roads PART 2

Ding .. walk up to woman at counter.. tell her about unhelpful website regarding no bookings without credit cards.. got told that they were getting to fixing that.

Asked to book my boating licence ASAP as i thaught this process would be alot easier and quicker.. (slight levels of sarcasam in my voice) as was - to my suprise - offered a testing time only 40 mins away. WOW .. whats happening at vic roads.. are they actually doing some work nowdays? i had been expecting 2 weeks. So off to pay (Cash.. finally) the cashier (notice how they arent called creditcardier's? lets think about that vicroads phone service people) for my test.. fill out application form and walk over to tell testing department that im there.. its now 11:35am and i have a midday appointment, im figuring .. woohoo.. two ciggies to settle for testing conditions and im in.. :) Nope.. "oh yes James. come straight thru.. we have a space for you right now.." Brain goes into OH S%*T mode "im not ready for my test .. i hate tests .. i want a ciggie.. noooooo.. wow.. thats actually quite fast.. these guys here are really working for once"
Anyways to cut a long story short (yeah yeah i know, but how else do i finnish).
I passed the test and the Personal watercraft endorsement with a total of 44/45 Go Me... and as i realised that i hadnt actually been planning to do the test today and therefore didnt put much effort into my appearance, as the bloke said smile for my photo all i could think was.. "well its a boating licence.. they may as well have a shot of me with messed up hair and stuff.."
will be off tomorrow to use my brand new licence on my parents new little jet inflatable Avon.
