Let's pack our bags and settle down where palm trees grow..
To say that Thursday and Coheed were awesome would be an understatement.. There are no words describe just how mesmerized and enraptured I was during both of their performances.. WOW!
The luck of the irish was definitely on yesterday at the show..
While standing in line, 99x attempted to humor everyone by launching grapes, little cubes of cheese, and jello from a ghetto-fied catapult made from PVC pipes and a funnel.. it looked fun, so I volunteered myself.. the guy picked me out of the crowd.. then asked everyone else what food they should hurl at me.. the crowd decides to be cute and pick jello.. so I get orange jello chucked at me.. but of course, my awesome athletic ability comes out and I totally catch that jello in my mouth on the first try and win an autographed AFI songbook..
During the Thursday show, I was singing along at the top of my lungs.. and GEOFF POINTS AT ME!! Needless to say, My night was complete at that moment..even though it didn't compare to Kerry and Jarrett's experience.. but it was good enough for me.. I'm not tight with Thursday like Kerry is.. and that was my first show.. so I think I did pretty good...
After Thursday, I got out of the pit and went and bought a shirt.. while looking for everyone else I stumble upon Claudio in the flesh.. I weasel my way up to get his autograph + a hug.. and continue on my quest to find everyone else.. then I enlighten Jarrett and crew on my discovery of Claudio.. they all set off at a dead sprint to get his autograph.. after all was said and done.. Jarrett dubbed me with the title "MVP" which I proudly accepted..
Props to Jarrett for informing me of the location of the bass player for Coheed and Cambria, Mike Todd... I totally got his autograph too..
Kerry "Bone Crusher" Graham made my night though.. he showed me the way to Geoff.. and that consisted of me getting his autograph and a hug..
All in all.. I totally racked up on autographs and good times..
