WEE BEAN HAS ARRIVED!
YES! Wee Bean has finally arrived and announced herself! :-D
My friend had a c-section on Tuesday and the baby that would not cooperate was finally determined to be a girl! Jessica Grace. 9lbs 13 oz. Mom, baby, Dad and Big Bro are doing fine. Twin is there till Friday watching Big Bro who is 28 months. They are having awesome adventures while the rest of us poor saps work. NOT fair I say! A zoo on Monday, Children's Museum Tuesday, Dinosaur park today and who knows what tomorrow holds! Little guy isn't gonna wanna go back to daycare. :-)
Work is total blah and I have no desire to work on anything because next week is the Invasion of Canadia and then the week after is Reply brief draft.
Tomorrow is a sad day. The end of an era. No more shall kids and kids-at-heart dream of astronauts and space shuttles. Atlantis lands at 0556 EDST ... the last shuttle makes its last landing. Fitting that today in 1969 was Armstrong and Buzz making "one small step for man and one giant leap for mankind." One has to wonder what Buzz and John Glenn think about the end of the shuttle program.
No work tomorrow since I have a doctor appointment. And will also visit grams as she turns 90 tomorrow.
ETA: DUH! I forgot!
rinkle got her scarf the other day! WOO HOO! And it's winter there so it's relevant and she can wear it!!! :D
