Pics: Roller Derby
Okay these are from APRIL, peeps. It's been crazy. I put them up on Picassa and never posted. This was our first Roller Derby and it was total fun. There is a guy's league (New York SHOCK Exchange) and the first ever bout for the new Long Island B Team: Rockabettie Bruisers. Both the mens and the ladies teams won... the Bruisers can back in the 2nd half to kick ass after trailing all first half!
Okay, Whip-It it was not, but it was a lot of fun and just this Saturday (June 11th) we went to another bout and it was the Bruiser's 2nd bout and they won again! :-)
There are a ton of pics and I was too lazy to edit them for the light was crappy without a real tripod.
WARNING!!! Do NOT flip thru Picasa if you get motion sick easy. A lot of shots are blurred images and therefore could trigger it!
First we had the men's bout. This first pic shows the problem of motion and low light!
