Hmmmm. OMG YULETIDE. Sorry. :-)
First a few general things... Pretty much I am just excited for a story in any of these fandoms!
Some things I like in fic: character studies, fun, humor, most anything!
Somethings I am not a fan of: non-con, slash, fem-slash, character bashing.
Flashpoint
Request from Form: General Team fun stuff. I love all the characters, but Ed is my favorite. A plotty case? Awesome. Off/down time playfulness? Wicked! No Slash, please.
More thoughts:
Seriously. Ed is and always has been my favorite. I love the bits with his wife from S1. I am from the US and I can't make sense of the episode numbers and seasons that stupid CBS has totally fraked. I've missed some eps that have aired, but never mind about that. Spoilers don't scare me at all.
But I love the team dynamics in this show. I've always been a sucker for good character interaction. Plot is always good, as is case files and such.
Castle
Request from Form: I love Castle's relationship with his daughter and would love to see some Ryan or Espisito getting mixed into that rather than just Beckett.
No Slash. I am a Beckett/Castle Fan, but that doesn't need to be in it. Although hits with them all teasing Castle is always welcome.
More thoughts:
I absolutely love the interactions of ALL the characters on this show. The case? Totally secondary to me. Ryan, Esposito, Mama Castle, Castle, Beckett, Alexis, Captain... This fandom is pretty much you write it, I will love it.
I do ship Beckett/Castle, but I kinda really love the relationship they have on the show of give and take, sexual tension.
Rookie Blue
Request from Form: I am an McNally/Swarek shipper. But I love the dynamics of the rookies and their older partners. I love Andy and Sam with just the hint of romance... how he's the one she turns to when something is bothering her. I love how the rookies are pretty close. Pretty much anything is great, but no slash or femslash.
More thoughts:
This took me some thinking on. I fell for this show hard. I loved it and I love Andy/Sam. But, more than just the sexual tension there, I love the relationships forming between the rookies, the training officers... how Andy goes to Sam when she needs anything (get your mind out of the gutter... not sex! :-P) She went to him for the plumping, to deal with killing a man... her dad. But it doens't have to be serious... I love the hi-jinks of the rookies. and the Uniforms vs. Detectives.
I am open for anything here that stays to cannon... General, romance, team building, fun and laughter at the bar... racing through the streets after an escaped convict... anything in between.
Foyle's War
Request from Form: Pretty much anything is great! I can see Sam with Foyle or his son Andrew, but General shenanigans is awesome. There is never enough of these three working together. (You can easily ignore the jerk Milner was in Series 7.)
More thoughts:
My love for this British Show knows no bounds. I can actually see Sam/Foyle. But I love these three characters working through WWII, persevering when none have what they thought they wanted. While I loved the latest three episodes from 2010, I hate what they have done to Milner's character... made him an arse and pretty much wrote him out. You can totally ignore that. :-)
Anything here will work for me. Seriously.
