Apr 21, 2010 19:04

I totally forgot to post the last batch and last night I uploaded the last 2 albums.

First... All 16 albums are here: http://picasaweb.google.com/jenn.ukeritis
They are the ones where the names end in 2010.

The MAP room in the Vatican Museum is my favoritest place ever. The colors, the ancient map murals, the gold work the scrolling is just incredible.

Assisi! I loved Tuscany. Rome was eh. Been there already and it's cool, but... Southern Italy where the family is from and Tuscany were AWESOME.
Ya know in Under the Tuscan Sun? The old man who brings flowers to the statute of Mary in the wall? Those things are ALL over Italy.

Florence... Okay, this was my least favorite place. It was cool to see Fake!David and Real!David, but it was eh. Guess you need lots of cast so you can shop for gold and leather or something. But all the other places in Tuscany I preferred.
That said... I love this pic! The view taken from Ponte Vecchio

From Florence 2010

FAKE!David. Seriously. This is the FAKE!David. Real!David is in the museum. The weather was crumbling him, so they moved him after making FAKE!David.

A view from the hill by the castle in Florence...

San Gimignano... my favorite place we visited. It's a walled city with 14 towers still standing. We made mom climb the Campanile... which was a short tower, and huge stairwell for it!
Here's one of the 3 bells in the tower...
