Life Update of Randomness
1. Lady Antebellum's new CD came out today and it's on sale at Amazon.com... $4 for the download version! IT FREAKING ROCKS. Seriously, these guys rock and I LOVE IT.
Well, that ended the good news.
2. It's a sucky time for people with pets that I know right now. A coworker had to put his dog down on Friday... Bear was having problems Thursday night and by Friday there really was no alternative. How do you explain that to a 2 and 5 year old? Coworker and wife have had Bear since they got married or for a very long time.
And then there is
pixie_on_acid and her cat.
3. People at work are using me as their petty, vicious bitching sounding board about other people at work and it's really making ME bitchy and I am ready to strangle people. it's driving me crazy and if I am in someone else's office I usually just leave, but sometimes they come into MY office and then it's hard to leave. I don't have my usual escape and it's adding up right now.
4. #3 also folds into my work because it feels like everyone has to have their matters handled RIGHT THIS SECOND and that just serves to make me cranky and bitchy. Sometimes I just wanna scream to let off stress.
5. I know #3 and #4 are mostly bothering me more so than normal because it is that time of the month and this month I am more emotional than normal for some reason. BUT OMG JUST BACK OFF WORK. Thanks.
6. Ooo! Another good thing... Castle was just freaking fantastic last night. Every episode makes me love it more and more. The character interaction is just so AWESOME.
7. I have food again! hee hee I finally went grocery shopping tonight after work so I have veggies and fruit and food! I also did all my dishes last night, so the kitchen is clean again!
8. I finished the briefs I needed to grade on Sunday, after SEVEN hours. I always forget how long it actually takes to read a 35 page legal brief. But they are done and I can stop forcing myself to read them. :-)
9. I am gonna sign up for Compressed pay week... it means working 8 hrs 5 days, then 8.75 hrs for the other 4 days so I work all my time in 9 days and have an extra day off. Must get boss to sign off on it tomorrow.
10. I FINALLY got off my arse and sent in my application to the VFD near me. So hopefully that's set before I need to sign up for the EMT-B refresher class that starts at the end of March.
I think that is enough for now... time to post NCIS discussion posts and knit!
