Not directly, but haven't noticed her not around. I'll run her through though--one sec--

You think something happened?

Put it this way. She left a note on the fridge few days ago, and didn't take my wallet with her.

Hasn't been arrested in the city of New York. Not just now.

Probably check with Jess Winters? They're close, close as they get with people anyway.

Oh.

Would rather avoid that. [...] She's a client.

Oh. I mean, yeah, I get that, if you stay worried I can ask.

I'm pretty sure I've seen her around, I don't know.

Thanks.

It's probably just typical Bloom. Decided she wants McDonalds.

Hey, it's possible. Those crazy kids, going out to dinner whenever they want to.

I'm not saying you can't be concerned, I'm saying it's worth remembering who we're talking about here.

A valid point.

Thanks.

Glad to help.

It's a paperwork day, I'm going through getting-thanked withdrawl.

Ha. My paperwork days, hard to thank me. Veritable snow storm of stuff everywhere. The interns quake.

Why would you get thanked less those days than others, though?

'Thanks for letting me in my car again'

or

'Hey man that's my fucking stapler'.

people call the cops for getting into their car?

Point made.

Thought so.

You having a paperwork day? Woulda thought all lawyer days were paperwork days.

No. Spend time in meetings with clients, mostly. Discussing what they want -- realistically speaking -- and their case. Paperwork days, writing letters, dictating file-notes, drafting pre-nups, etc. Got to the point where the words 'clause' and 'addendum' put me into a cold sweat.

You? What does 'paperwork' involve?
